It’s often difficult to promote an event to a wider audience. That’s why we at AAMA work with our affiliate organization to cross promote events to members of both organizations. However, so that we can maximize our efforts, we do request that if you are interested in sending your event information to our 10,000+ email list, you follow the following guideline.
1. Just because you send us an email to promote your event does not guarantee that it will be sent out to our members. As you can imaging, we receive no less than 10-15 requests per day to cross promote events. Please be aware that we can not accommodate every request that we receive. We will send out selective events to our members from from affiliates whom we have previous reciprocating relationship. If you are interested in cross promoting, please send me an email to address below and we can discuss the possibilities.
2. When sending us the request for cross promotions, we do request that you provide at least the following information: title of the event, when it will take place, no more than 2-3 sentence summary and the URL of the information or registration page. We would also like to let us know when you would be able to send out information about our events on your email blast.
3. We typically send out our affiliate event information to our members on second week of each months. We usually do not send more than one email per month to our members, so sending us information about an event that will take place in next few days will be nearly impossible for us to send out. Please keep this in mind when sending your request.
