AAMA Connect 2011:
Asia Conference

East Meets West: Cloud Computing for the Masses

From cleantech to social media, smart grid, online video, billing and games, everything now lives in the cloud. Only a few years ago, there was substantial concern around remote storage of personal information. Today, internet consumers around the world have little to no concerns entrusting their most personal information to the cloud -- whether they upload thousands of photos to the cloud or manage their finances online, the typical consumer has become dependent on the cloud. Even corporations trust the cloud with their most confidential information, as they leverage it for data storage and sharing as well as external data sharing with customers or clients.

Cloud computing isn't a new concept, but there's little doubt that we are quickly moving closer to a cloud-based computing model. Questions about security and privacy have been raised, but these uncertainties don't seem to be changing consumer behavior. This year's AAMA Connect Asia Conference will explore the different ways cloud computing has reached the masses through multiple channels.
