Vivian Wang

Vivian is a technology marketer, brand strategist, and Partner at Sasson Capital Holdings, one of the first early-stage cross-border US-Asian private equity funds with a direct footprint in Mainland China. She focused on mobile/fixed broadband (Asia Netcom, KG Telecom, UT Starcom), telecom infrastructure, wireless networks, renewable energy (wind, solar), health care and IoT technologies (stem cell therapeutics, connected devices). She collaborated on a number of projects with IBM Research, Lucent-Alcatel, Motorola, Nokia - later acquired by Foxconn.

She started her career in product management in the satellite communications and computer imaging industries at Microelectronics Technology Inc and Microtek Lab. Vivian led strategic partnerships with Adobe Systems, Apple, DEC, EchoStar, DirecTV, Microsoft, NeXT Computer, Olivetti, Sun Microsystems and the US Government. She has also held a variety of marketing roles at Avery Dennison leading to the launch of over 50 new products in office automation with revenues exceeding $230 million. Vivian helped produce and publish co-branded releases of interactive children's titles with The Walt Disney Company Mattel, Electronic Arts like 
AladdinHot Wheels, The Little Mermaid, Madeline, Sesame Street, and SchoolHouse Rock!. 

She studied Operations Research and Visual Arts, is graduate of the University of California, San Diego, and The Peter F. Drucker Graduate School of Management at Claremont College. 
She advises many startups, documentaries, and  community organizations including ArtCenter College of Design, Crowd Companies, Project Happiness, Little Girl Robot Music, SOSVentures, Sutro Water in Silicon Valley, Los Angeles, and throughout Asia.
