About AAMA Silicon Valley
Asia America MultiTechnology Association has been Silicon Valley's leading business network promoting the success of technology enterprises in the Valley in association with the Pacific Rim. Having deep roots and in the Silicon Valley community and with counterparts in Asia, AAMA has a worldwide network of 10,000 technology colleagues representing well over 2,000 companies. AAMA’s membership roster represents a diverse and influential array of technology industries, including AI and Machine Learning, Semiconductors and Hardware Infrastructure, Autonomous Systems and Robotics, Enterprise SaaS and Cloud Computing, and Health Technology and Biotech, as well as financial, legal, and professional services industries that are integral to high-tech development. To fulfill its mission, AAMA boasts a strong line-up of program offerings ranging from speaker series, membership mixers, mentoring programs, technology showcases, to premiere conferences.Founded in 1979, Asia America MultiTechnology Association (AAMA), formerly known as Asian American Manufacturers Association, is the largest pan-Asian and American technology association in the world.
AAMA brings members in technology together for mutual support, sharing of ideas and accelerating best-in-class collaborations. This connectivity results in successful business ventures in the Silicon Valley, across the Asia-Pacific region and in the global economy.
AAMA’s global presence includes chapters in Silicon Valley, Beijing, Shanghai, Seoul, Greater Bay Area (formerly known as Pearl River Delta) and Taiwan. Each chapter hosts local events to promote regional business relationships and works closely with the Silicon Valley headquarters to ensure members have access to innovations, funding, and the global high-tech business ecosystems.

AAMA Milestones:
- 1979: Founding of AAMA, formerly known as Asian American Manufacturers Association
- 1990: Hosted first annual business and technology conference
- 2002: Changed name to Asia America MultiTechnology Association (from Asian American Manufacturers Association)
- 2004: Launched AAMA Beijing Chapter
- 2007: Launched AAMA Shanghai Chapter
- 2009: Launched Cleantech Special Interest Group
- 2010: Formed AAMA Seoul Chapter Organizing Committee
- 2012: Launched AAMA Pearl River Delta Chapter, now AAMA Greater Bay Area
- 2012: AAMA Taipei Chapter launched
AAMA (Greater Bay Area) Chapter -previously AAMA Pearl River Delta Chapter- has been formed under the leadership of Dr Robert Lee, Chairman, in 2012 and is very active with many recent events: https://www.aamagba.org
