AAMA Milestones
AAMA Mission:
The AAMA strives to:
- Create an organization that delivers programs to professionals interested in U.S. and Asian technologies
- Foster business growth and capital investment across Silicon Valley and Asia
- Identify and promote new emerging markets, technologies and high potential ventures
AAMA Milestones:
- 1979: Founding of AAMA, formerly known as Asian American Manufacturers Association
- 1990: Hosted first annual business and technology conference
- 2002: Changed name to Asia America MultiTechnology Association (from Asian American Manufacturers Association)
- 2004: Launched AAMA Beijing Chapter
- 2007: Launched AAMA Shanghai Chapter
- 2009: Launched Cleantech Special Interest Group
- 2010: Formed AAMA Seoul Chapter Organizing Committee
- 2012: Launched AAMA Pearl River Delta Chapter, now AAMA Greater Bay Area
- 2012: AAMA Taipei Chapter launched
AAMA (Greater Bay Area) Chapter -previously AAMA Pearl River Delta Chapter- has been formed under the leadership of Dr Robert Lee, Chairman, in 2012 and we are very active with many recent events: https://www.aamagba.org
