AAMA Milestones

AAMA Mission:

The AAMA strives to:

  • Create an organization that delivers programs to professionals interested in U.S. and Asian technologies
  • Foster business growth and capital investment across Silicon Valley and Asia
  • Identify and promote new emerging markets, technologies and high potential ventures

AAMA Milestones:

  • 1979:   Founding of AAMA, formerly known as Asian American Manufacturers Association
  • 1990:   Hosted first annual business and technology conference
  • 2002:   Changed name to Asia America MultiTechnology Association (from Asian American Manufacturers Association)
  • 2004:   Launched AAMA Beijing Chapter
  • 2007:   Launched AAMA Shanghai Chapter
  • 2009:   Launched Cleantech Special Interest Group
  • 2010:   Formed AAMA Seoul Chapter Organizing Committee
  • 2012:   Launched AAMA Pearl River Delta Chapter, now AAMA Greater Bay Area
  • 2012:   AAMA Taipei Chapter launched

AAMA (Greater Bay Area) Chapter -previously AAMA Pearl River Delta Chapter- has been formed under the leadership of Dr Robert Lee, Chairman, in 2012 and we are very active with many recent events: https://www.aamagba.org
